"If you bring in a pet its $25.00 for each pet....we had one dog. They run your credit card for $100.00 "for residuals", then credit your card back $75.00. They said 3-5 business days for the credit to appear.....its now been 14 business days and three calls. As I'm on the phone with them, and my credit card statement in front of me on the computer, they claim the credit was issued. Looking at the computer it was not there. All they said, and kept saying was "you need to contact your bank"....

"The shampoo and conditioner bottles mounted in the shower were empty! The thermostat was it working in our room! There were homeless people hanging out at the side entrance we used to get to our room! I will not stay there again and will not recommend it to anyone!"

"The staff are genuinely nice and professional. We had returned one night and a car with lots of stuff in it door was open. Unloading, returning or error? Front desk said if no one came in 10 minutes she would close the door. Welcoming atmosphere, clean remodeled room. We stay here several times a year when we return ‘home’ to JC. The staff reflects JC very well."

"The entire staff was so nice. Ms T and Brooke were super friendly abd talkative. The front desk lady was very nice as well. The rooms were comfy, clean, and very dark when the blackout shades were drawn. The lobby has tea and lemon water, coffee and mints on hand. The place is small and homey. Breakfast was good Parking is easy. Location is great. I would 100% stay here again. I have nothing bad to say. All places should have a staff as nice as this one does."

"The room was in very good condition. It looks as though it had been redone. However, parts not replaced showed wear. Rust on towel holder, drawers and doors on cabinet did not close. The outside looked dated too with chipping paint and rust on metal. Overall, however, it was a nice hotel."

"For $130, I would expect the room to be clean. Bathroom had alot of water damage under the sink on the wall same for around the bath. Sink faucet moved completly over when we turned it on and off. Breakfast was ok, but bread products were definitely not fresh."

"Unique place on a beautiful property. So peaceful with an amazing view of the lake. A bit confused at first about the seperate suites. We would definitely like to come back and spend more time exploring the area."

"Tim, our host, was friendly, knowledgeable and generous with his time. We very much enjoyed the tour of his beautiful home and garden. The candlelight breakfast complete with champagne flutes was truly memorable. We would absolutely stay here again."
