"Excellent place"

"We stayed here 2 days. The first night when I checked in we went to our room and it was really hot in there. So we turned the ac on and it didnt work. It was very hard to sleep because it was so hot. The next morning we went to the front desk and told them about it. The lady that helped me was rude. She did give use a different room but she asked like I was inconveniencing her. When we got our new room key, we went to the room and it smelled like mildew and stall cigarette smell. "Didn't eat there "

"So the bed was clean, every thing else was used up and stained. Makeup smudges on the hairdryer, which made me wonder about other surfaces. Room smelled like someone had cooked something fragrant in there, could only open the window 6” to try and air it out. Fine for a quick stay, it was quiet and well priced, perfectly mediocre."

"Both the kickback meal and breakfast were excellent and saved us money by not having to eat out. The extra perks of unlimited soda and popcorn make the money spent on our room an even better value. Our room was clean and comfortable and the location was perfect for checking out the area. We would definitely stay here again if in Iowa city area in the future."

Advised front desk who spoke to them and noise/shouting started again a few minutes later. Advised front desk again but nothing changed. "I forgot to tell them our room had no water pressure. It was literally a tiny sprinkler coming out. I almost took the shower head off myself and tried to clean it out but I didn’t have time. It was clean, but looks like it’s being renovated. It could definitely be a little better. It was a cheap stay but you definitely saw the rust on the bathroom doors, the over flow sink would go all over the toilet paper, some of the lights didn’t work. But it wasn’t a terrible stay. "Our room had a moldy, musty smell....Our sinuses were a mess by morning and we barely got any sleep. The air conditioning didn't work very well and the fridge didn't either. The bathroom counter was all chipped up and the furniture in our suite was dirty and worn."
