"We really enjoyed staying at this motel.
The room was very cozy, clean, and comfortable for our stay 🙌
The staff was very friendly and welcoming, which made us feel at home. The location is great — quiet, peaceful, and surrounded by beautiful nature
There are nice barbecue areas on the property with mountain views, and at night you can see an amazing starry sky
We would definitely come back and stay at Toiyabe Motel again :)"

"Room was nice everything modern. Didn't realize that there was no one to check in with. I am not very good with the technology stuff. For most everyone it's probably easy to check in electronically but I struggle with it. But it is a nice location and everything else was good. Would certainly stay again."

"For people who enjoy going back in time and yet enjoy free espresso and museum style, this is the most charming place. The owner is wonderful. We'll be back!"
"Roxanne and Rocky were awesome!! So accommodating and nice. Great location and loved the river view. Motel could use a little updating but overall it was perfect for our weekend and we would definitely stay again!!!"
"The outside of this motel classically old. The inside is very modern. Clean and comfortable. Functional kitchenette. There is no staff to help with check in. Everything is done online. The coded door lock took a while to figure out. I met the manager in the morning along with another staff person. They were attentive and friendly.
I would stay here again."
"Great place to stay...owners work hard to maintain their property...resturant has great food love the pizza...close to outdoor sports...fishing...lots of lakes nearby. Whether you stay overnight or multiple nights....its always a good time. Thanks"
"I always wanted to stay at the Bridgeport Inn and finally got my chance - I was not disappointed and in fact it was even better than I hoped! It's not your typical hotel/motel experience so if that's what you want you should try somewhere else. But, if you want to stay in a cool old hotel, love antiques and history, and enjoy a great bar and food then this is your place. I got a single room with a bathroom since I was concerned about bathroom privacy. I checked out the shared bathroom situation since it's not well described on the hotel site - it's a shared bathroom but the bathroom itself is private behind a door; same as the shower room. I would not hesitate to get one of those rooms in the future. The motel part (new building) was not appealing to me but I like the old buildings so maybe that's just me. I will be looking for a reason to stay here again!"
"This is a motor court. The kind that was built in the '50s to accommodate car travelers. It's not a high class hotel. If you're passing through, or staying in Bridgeport for a few days to enjoy the outdoors it's a great choice.
It is a motor court run by people who care about it. They keep it updated, well maintained, and clean. They are very helpful and friendly. The same person who checked me in at night was outside picking up trash in the morning. This is the kind of authentic hospitality you won't get from a corporate chain.
It has everything necessary for a stay, including chairs and a desk. It has screen doors, so you can leave the front door open and get some fresh air when it's nice out, which it often is in Bridgeport."
"Stayed at Sierra cabin towards the back of the property (of note, Yurts are at a different location just down the road). Very clean, friendly staff, very relaxing grounds. Patrons were all respectful during our stay and everyone seemed to value the collective feeling of serenity/peace. Excellent supplies in terms of all needed utensils in clinic, only negative was regarding spice rack, some were expired but really not enough of a negative to take away from the experience. We shopped at S. Lake Tahoe Raley's just about 20 minutes up the road and cooked dinner/breakfast ourselves. Plenty of great little fun spots on site, including swings overlooking the property, fire pit, bag toss games/Jenga/etc. Would stay again definitely."
