"We were on day three of a 14 day trip through National Parks in the west. We were about 20 miles from this property when a doe mule deer decided it was a good time to cross our path. The car was undrivable and is still in Cody WY. Diana and Rick were fantastic hosts. They made us feel at home and helped us get our feet back under us. The property is beautiful and about a dozen miles from the east gate to Yellowstone. The cabins have a wonderful history, are well maintained, and are squeaky...

"The property itself was beautiful, but the check-in process left a lot to be desired. We called a week in advance to confirm that we’d be arriving after hours and were told there would be a self check-in process — but no details were provided beyond that. When we arrived, there was no signage indicating where the registration or check-in area was, which made it really confusing. We ended up driving all around the property trying to figure it out. Thankfully, we happened to catch a bartender...

"We loved Wapiti Lodge! We stayed in the Langford Suite and it was perfect - clean, roomy, comfortable, with all the amenities and then some (

basket in the fridge, plenty of coffee and tea). The owners were suberb - friendly, personable, and helpful. The restaurant was also wonderful - we had two great dinners there - delicions food and excellent service. The location is beautiful and we hope to be back at Wapiti lodge again some day. "
