"The manager could not have been more helpful and welcoming. Positioned in the centre of town, walkable distance to cafes & restaurants and it’s nice to stay somewhere that has onsite facilities - laundry, ice machine & filtered water.
It will be the best accommodation in town once all the rooms are renovated."
"Warm, clean room.
Overall looks a bit run down. No staff on hand in the dining room at breakfast - one morning no milk and no juice and no one to assist. Good having a guest laundry but dirty."
"Staff were greatnand welcoming - travelling with a little dog (moodle) and paid for him prior to arriving, but had to pay again on arrival. That was an little disappointing, and the room wasnt too comfortable. Had to remove the bedspread, dog wouldn't stop smelling it, and it looked dirty. Didn't feel comfortable in the room amd left early."
"Staff were very friendly and the complimentary breakfast pack (cereal, milk, fruit and juice) was very welcome!
Bed was comfy and room was warm.
Bathroom could use some attention - mould in the shower and a shower that would run hot and then cold.
Overall, a great stay for the price paid."
"If all you are after is a clean bed this property is good.
lady on reception is very nice.
things that disappointed me are.
advertises a restaurant but there isn't one.
advertises WIFI but again it doesn't work
at 8pm all outside lights turned off, no security, high risk of tripping, pavements falling apart."
"Upon entry to the room, it appeared clean. Closer look revealed mouse droppings on the bed covers, under the beds was terribly dirty, plenty of spiders and spider webs.
The room contained mugs (all dirty) and other crockery but no kettle or tea and coffee
No mention on the website that the restaurant is closed.
I wouldn’t recommend and I wouldn’t stay there again."
"Excellent accomodation but we were sent a text telling us how to get in and to make ourselves at home thinking it was just us. A man appeared who didnt identify himself just put food in the fridge (he had a very run down car and could have been homeless) it would have been good to have been told that he could appear, also that there was another guest who was as shocked as we were when he arrived at 8pm. Appart from that it was very comfortable and the breakfast which we cooked ourselves was excellent."
"Power points in room are about 1.5 meters above floor level making it impossible to have cords long enough to charge phone, ipad, watch or battery pack
Staff did not know wifi code and another staff member wasnt sure of code for guests level 1 and the code he gave it to try didnt work"
