"Kudos to the cleaning and maintenance staff! Everything was spotless! Beautiful room, super clean, very comfortable beds, great location, quiet. Zero complaints about this property itself. Unfortunately, I had to take off one star because of the extremely unfriendly woman at the front desk when we checked in. Our group was relieved to arrive at the hotel after a 6 hour drive. I greeted the front desk associate warmly, let her know my name. Inexplicably, she greeted me completely opposite with a cold, unpleasant stare, and a nasty attitude. She wouldn’t even hand me back my drivers license- just tossed it back onto the desk. It was legitimately creepy how unwelcoming she was and definitely spoiled the initial good vibe we felt when we arrived. I don’t know if it was just a rough day, someone before me treated her ugly, or what – trust me, I get it, I’m in healthcare and I know firsthand how awful people can be. But it’s never acceptable– and it’s completely unprofessional– to take your emotions out on innocent, sleepy customers who are just trying to get through a simple transaction and get to bed without feeling unwelcome and hated. I would recommend someone in management check on her. Otherwise, a 5 star stay."
