Kitchen could have been cleaner, cups were a bit dirty, also rooms were a bit smelly. No soap or washing up brush in the Kitchen

Reluctantly give one star to be able to proceed but property doesn't rate any. Dreadful.

Rating ABYSMAL. Certainly no stars. Accommodation dire, dark, dismal, depressing, claustrophobic. Not a holiday 'apartment' as we understand it. Advertising photo gives impression that what you see is what you get. Absolutely not so! What we were allocated was totally unacceptable. Four separate tiny cell-type soul-less rooms off a short, very narrow corridor. Lounge area so small we could touch walls with outstretched arms. Basic in the extreme and certainly not as advertised. Totally without warmth or character. Not one single item of colour or decoration to make it feel inviting. We viewed, refused and returned keys to Reception saying we couldn't possibly stay there. They had nothing else to offer. Blocks located in wasteland site in what looks like an industrial estate . Not what you would expect from a HomeAway advertised property. We had to find a hotel room for the night and returned home next day, our holiday break spoiled. This complex has obviously not been vetted by HomeAway. We messaged the owner immediately telling them their property was unacceptable and not as advertised and that we were taking the matter further. They have not had the courtesy to reply to that or subsequent messages. We entered into a contract in good faith and paid in full based on what was advertised, therefore keeping our side of the bargain. The owner, Travelscape, has not. Consequently, we feel we are due not only a total refund but also the cost of a room in the Tower Hotel Waterford for the night of 24th July at a cost of Euros99 as well as our travel expenses there and back home again. We are making a formal complaint via HomeAway and also intend reviewing on the usual social media platforms under the caption BUYER BEWARE! That we are hugely disappointed is an understatement.

Minimal Accommodations in Student Housing.

This is student housing being used in the summer time as apartments. It is in a great location, but has only the bare minimum in terms of supplies. The kitchen is almost not functional and you may need to buy anything you might need, including paper towels and dish washing liquid. There is no dishwasher. We also experienced a fly problem, which is an issue, as the only way to cool the unit is to open the windows. Bring your own shampoo and soap. Walls are thin, so the noise levels were significant. I felt like I was in college again. No wifi. It is a good price for the area. If I ever travel to Waterford in the future, I will stay somewhere nicer.

Pas trop cher, mais ça ne vaut pas plus

La photo est très flatteuse : il s'agit d'une sorte de cité d'appart'hotels, un peu genre chambres d'étudiants. C'est moyen niveau poubelles et propreté des extérieurs. Une fois dedans, c'est du fonctionnel avec une cuisine exiguë mais bien équipée. Bien pour faire des économies.

Waterford Stay

We did not like that we were not able to connect to wifi from room, only available in office which was a completely different building. No soap/toiletries were provided, so we had to go out and buy. Wish that we were at least informed that this was needed this before we arrived, such as in the online room information . We were lucky to find a grocery store open until 10 p.m., we arrived at about 9:15 p.m.

Worst nights sleep I've ever had

Bed squealed like a violin every time we moved, kept us awake all night. Place was infested with flies, and woke up with plenty of bites. Ended up giving up and leaving at dawn as it was just too uncomfortable. Reception was not open to change rooms.

It is an ideal location costing less than €10 for taxi. The only problem we had is that their wasn't even a kettle in the room or no where to make a cup of tea!! And the matress was fit to be dumped!!

Apartment was dirty and smelly.i had to go and buy cleaning products to clean it.floors sticky.cobwebs.dirty cutlery and cups and plates.dried in vomit on base of bed in bedroom two and also smelt of smoke.we had to stay because everywhere else in waterford was booked up.we left a day early so lost my money that id paid for the sunday night.the receptionist was very nice though but sadly couldnt give me a refund as i hadnt booked directly through them.i know these are student accomodations but they should be refreshed with a lick of paint and cleaned before renting out to paying customers like myself.

Girly weekend away

I went with my sisters for a shopping/fun weekend away. Apartment was perfect for this. We had lots of space. Basic but clean . Had everything we needed. Will definitely return . Only downside its a bit of a walk into the main city but taxis were reasonable and easy to get.

although very basic it was spotless a bit dissapointed with no tv or tea making facilities can understand that for students but not for couples on a break but saying that it was worth the money
