"We had never visited the area prior to this visit. Really didn't know what to expect. Boy were we pleasantly surprised! Arrived way too early to check in. We were able to stash our luggage at the desk so we could start our vacation. Staff suggested a great lunch place and offered to text us as soon as our room was ready. The location was AWESOME! Walking distance to everything we wanted to do and see. Definitely have brunch at Blue Heaven, lunch or drinks at Ramshead, Cuban food at El Siboney is...

"The room was kept clean. Definitely an older hotel, which is a part of the charm. The grounds were truly beautiful and well kept. We very much enjoyed our stay. The only drawback is an outdated bathroom. If you don’t mind that, then this is highly recommended stay!"

"Location was great. Quiet street. Breakfast and Happy Hour was wonderful. Friendly staff. Location of our room was not great. Right outside the food bar and bottom of the steps. At night the guests returning were loud and obnoxious and woke us from our sleep. The guests across the hall locked themselves out of their room and were yelling and cussing at each other. There is no one on staff present overnight. Only a phone number for after -hours issues. "

"The private pool is not private. It is near the walkways so everyone walking by can see into the pool/your room. The bar on the roof deck is small and the seats are not comfortable. The staff was awful, unfriendly, rude, and acted as we were bothering them. From the moment we arrived it was really disappointing."

"We loved this hotel! The area was quiet and within walking distance to everything that we wanted to do. We stayed right next to the pool and loved the convenience of it! Our room was clean and spacious. The shower was a little tricky- there’s not really an option for warm water (it was either really hot or really cold). The breakfast every morning was good with lots of options. We would definitely stay there again!"

"If you’re looking for a clean, reliable, and typical hotel, this property delivers. The staff was very attentive, and the made-to-order omelet poolside was a nice touch. That said, when I visit Key West, I look for more of that tropical “Keys” charm. While the hotel met our needs, it felt more like a standard hotel you could find anywhere in the U.S."

"Wonderful stay! Coffee best around by far!! Make sure to take advantage of the yummy breakfast, relaxing pool and may even get a quick Mary or Dan viewing. They are cats who enjoy the company of the also hoarding lizards 😊we will definitely be back!"

"I enjoyed my stay at this property. Its a smaller 2 story place with that Old Florida look and vibe. It's not luxury but my Queen Suite lodging was perfect for me. Two good-sized rooms with daily maid service. The bed was nice and firm. The breakfast was rather simple- good if you just needed a quick bite to start the day. Best of all was it was right outside my door, lol. Above the table were staff picks for good eating spots. And I want to give a gold star to the desk mgr (wish I could recall...

"The location was great and the building was as old and charming on the outside, what I was looking for. We were on the top floor ( no elevator so don`t pack much!), the lower level rooms were likely quite noisy . The AC did work and our room was cleaned well. The overall upkeep of the building is not great, amenities are very limited ( as expedia VIP should get 25% off food and drinks, but there were only few bottle of sodas/ water available, no food).
