"I was very disappointed at the property in the upkeep of my room there are a lot of things unrepared looks like the door was had been damaged or kicked in at one time the phone didn't work in the room the alarm clock radio was broken and the water in the bathtub did not drain but slowly."

"Great location. Clean and comfortable. While there were lots of restuarants in the area, this would have been an excellent stay had there been room service or a full-sized restuarant with room service. I would stay here again."

"Clean room. Excellent breakfast. A/C did not cool room well. I ended up sleeping on the couch in front of A/C unit since the cool air was not getting to the end of the room where bed was located. Room needs a ceiling fan or better A/C unit."

"10 out of 10 stars! We had a great stay at Sleep Inn & Suites Tyler South. The front desk staff was very polite and helpful both in the evening when we checked in and again the next morning when we needed a new iron. The hotel was very clean, the staff was wonderful, and everything felt well cared for. We slept very well, the pillows were nice, and the beds were extremely comfortable. Overall, an excellent experience and we would definitely stay here again."

"I had a reservation for 5 nights and checked in online however when I showed at the hotel they were over booked and gave my room away. So I was stranded in the middle of the night in a town I wasn’t familiar with and the front desk clerk did not offer to help or do anything other then suggest to cancel my reservation. They did manage to honor the rest of my stay but not having a room for a night definitely soured the entire experience "

"It was okay enough. Rooms did the job and they were decent. We had a rough time checking in... The front desk lady kept saying we hadn't paid, even though we had the receipt and proof of transaction on our cards. Finally, she just let us go on but we couldn't have access to any wifi and such. It was annoying, but we were on there to sleep, so I just let it be."

"The property felt like such a sweet retreat! There’s no service, so it was such a great opportunity to disconnect! There definitely are other cabins around but it didn’t feel like it. The walking trails were serene and it was such a great getaway. Will definitely return!"

"I stayed here for the pool but I wasn’t impressed. There should have been a bathroom inside the pool area. My key card would not let me into the pool area so I had to go get a staff member to open it for me. So we didn’t get to swim. The staff at the desk were just so so. Not very welcoming. The room was great! Clean, new looking. The stay was pleasant enough. It was in a good area. Every place we wanted to see was close by. That’s a plus"

"The room was clean but there was a very strong marijuana odor outside the rooms. Also, the front desk called the room to, very rudely, tell us only two people were allowed in the room. We were there for a funeral and were trying to be with family. They weren’t staying the night, just visiting, but it was a surprise and just didn’t sit well with us; it felt like we were being constantly being watched. "

"Easily the worst room possible. It was infested with cockroaches—dead and alive. The place was filthy and the reception staff couldn't care less."

"The staff was nice and attentive when we needed them but the room was just ok. We had three trash cans but none with bags so we had to dump our trash in the empty baskets. There were also tiny bugs flying around the window area. "

"I only tried the waffles for breakfast and they are great. The coffee is actually good here so that’s a plus. One of my towels had a red stain. There were red stains in random places in the bathroom and in the carpet by the bathroom. The carpet seemed new so that’s a shame. "
