The food was great, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. We also did a trekking tour organized by them, which turned out to be a wonderful experience. "Good place to stay in Kandy. Walking distance to most attractions. Unfortunately hotel has NO lifts and being 4 stories may prove difficult for some. Wide stairs and port service does overcome this but could be better. This should be highlighted in advertising. Breakfast buffet excellent, with evening meals available. Great view over Kandy spoilt a little by substandard building close next door. Hotel unlicensed for alcohol but I understand this is being addressed."

"We had always wanted to stay on a Tea Estate in the hills and this did not disappoint. A great tour of the estate was arranged either the Tea Estate Manager and was an excellent insight into how tea is grown and picked. Great views from the veranda. Staff most helpful."

"Nice clean room. Hot shower, soft bed, and a working mini fridge. Enjoyed the balcony, which faces the street. When I booked the room, I thought it said "mountain view" which is true, but a bit of a stretch. Restaurant is pretty good; staff are polite. Check-in was a bit rushed; otherwise, no problems."

"Beautiful property with wonderful staff and best food we had on the island. Loved the excursions and hikes on offer. Special mention to the organic farm they have, we enjoyed a tour and all our meals sourced ingredients from right on site. Location was close enough to Kandy for sightseeing but much nicer to be away from the city and surrounding by nature and the mountain view. Especially from the spa pool!! Highly recommend"
