"Wir haben eine Nacht im Big Mama in Berlin verbracht, da wir ganz in der Nähe zu einer Feier eingeladen waren. Das Hotel ist grundsolide, mit freundlichem Personal und gutem Frühstück. Leider war unser Zimmer nicht gänzlich rein - speziell das Zierkissen auf dem Bett sollte von Zeit zu Zeit unbedingt gewaschen werden. Es war in unserem Fall fleckig und voll mit Haaren. Ansonsten hatten wir einen angenehmen Aufenthalt."

"Unser Aufenthalt am Wochenende war insgesamt gut und angenehm. Besonders positiv ist uns die allgemeine Atmosphäre des Hotels aufgefallen. Bei der Sauberkeit gibt es jedoch noch etwas Verbesserungspotenzial. Es wäre wünschenswert, wenn der Staub regelmäßiger entfernt und die Dusche gründlicher gereinigt wird. Das Frühstück haben wir nicht gebucht, allerdings könnte ein etwas günstigerer Preis dieses Angebot attraktiver machen. Die Parkplatzmöglichkeiten in der Tiefgarage empfanden wir...

"Located in an undesirable area of town. Parking is tight and awkward as were the doors and elevators getting from the parking garage. Some of the staff were nice and helpful while others reacted to any question or request like you were impositioning them. The breakfast is just average a far better can be found right at the corner at La Femme. While Marriott tags their badge on this property, it certainly is not representative of their norm."

"Accommodatie was schoon, compleet en ruim genoeg. Locatie ligt in een iets mindere wijk, maar aan de overzijde is een treinstation waar je met de trein naar het centrum kunt. Daar kun je ook een berlin card kopen voor een paar dagen zodat je onbeperkt met alle vervoersmiddelen kunt reizen. Om de hoek is ook een supermarkt en een koffiebar. Je krijgt vooraf per e-mailbericht een code om in het gebouw en in de kamer te komen. Werkt perfect."

"Für einen kurzen Aufenthalt durchaus zu empfehlen- schlichte, einfache Ausstattung, Kleiderstange statt Kleiderschrank, Reinigung des Zimmers wöchentlich, Frühstück einfach, auf Wunsch O‘Saft und Kaffee nach Wahl. Mitarbeiter*innen sehr freundlich."

"The staff were very nice and helpful when we asked to change rooms because we’re elderly and the walk to our first room was quite a distance from the elevator. The front staff changed our room and we were very grateful. The hotel construction outside is an eye sore, the inside is tired and needs some tlc. There is a nice bar and lounge area. The neighborhood is not convenient to shopping or the central part of the tourist areas. Also we didn’t feel comfortable walking in the area at night."

"Personeel was heel vriendelijk. Parkeren konden we achter het hotel, € 14,00 per dag. Er was geen airconditioning. De vloerbedekking was vervuild. Sanitair was wel goed schoon. Zelf hebben we 2 x gevraagd om schone handdoeken."

"Das Personal war wirklich super. Sehr lieb und hilfsbereit. Da hört es aber auch schon auf mit den guten Punkten. Es war sehr dreckig, massiver Schimmel in der Dusche, nachts extrem laut durch das Feiern von anderen Gästen im Innenhof. Handtücher und Fögn haben wir auch nur auf Nachfrage bekommen. Muss echt nicht nochmal sein."

So much thought went into everything, complementary drinks when we arrived, and thank you gift on leaving. The apartment was spacious, spotlessly clean and had everything you could need. We are a family of 6 (4 children) and they have already asked if we can stay at Bensimon if we ever visit Berlin again! Can’t recommend it highly enough, thank you!"
