"Friendly staff"

"The room was spotless, the staff was helpful and nice! They spoke both English & German perfectly. The hotel was just beautiful filled with bouquets of fresh flowers & had an air of old time elegance with modern amenities. Highly recommend this place for its location in the city, great atmosphere, cozy bar with an excellent bartender & the sauna. Win-win!"

"The real stand-out was the breakfast. It had absolutely everything, including champagne. The staff were generally friendly, although we did overhear a conversation where one member of staff was the opposite of friendly. Otherwise, staff were just wonderful. Our room was roomy ... the bed was a dream. Haven't slept so well for years. It is expensive, but the breakfast was worth every cent!"

"From the free water and free breakfast (and 5E credit towards a "welcome drink"), this value-conscious hotel delivers comfort and convenience to the road-weary traveler. Front desk staffed by at least one fluent English speaker, generous breakfast buffet with leisurely weekend hours. Spacious bathroom with walk-out shower. Parking adjacent to hotel. After a week of Air BnB key exchanges and post-stay clean ups, it was nice to stay in a real hotel for a change. The restaurant had a series of eight colorful (abstract-ish) portraits that caught our attention. When none of the other guests could identify the subjects, we checked with the front desk, who promptly gave us the information we wanted: The "Kunst faces" of the Bauhaus movemet (early 20th century) included Wassily Kandinski, Walter Gropius, Gertrud Arndt, Paul Klee, Laszio Mohly-Nagy, Gunta Stolzi, Ludwig Mies van der Rohe, Lyonel Feininger, and Brund Taut.
