"The staff were very kind and upgraded us to the Grand Suite which was a huge apartment, more room than we needed. The king bed was very comfortable and the location was excellent, just one block from the main downtown stretch of shops and restaurants. "Restaurant was closed. Someone set my alarm for 6am in the room. Not cool. Then the next morning, the alarm in the vacant room next to me went off at 6am and woke me up. I had to call the front desk to have them come turn it off. 2 times is a pattern. My guess is hotel staff thinks this is some sort of funny prank. I will not stay at a Coast Hotel ever again. That makes me sad…"

"We liked that the parking lot was directly across the street from the closed main drive. Easy to load and unload. We really enjoyed the ambience of the interior hallways, common areas and of course the back deck. The staff was very friendly and accommodating to our needs when needed. We stayed in room 11, which has a king size amazing mattress bed, a two person Jetta tub and an extra half bathroom, with let’s face it… Helps :-) you walk outside your hotel and you are right on the front street...

"Me and my kids stayed here for 3 days. When we saw the reviews you looked like a decent hotel. The pool was great. The grounds were clean. Seem to be a lot of sketchy people staying there. Our rooms looked like they were updated but they smelled like smoke and chemicals. Maybe it was just on our floor, the first floor which is the basement. But it was musty. I won't stay here again. The breakfast was decent . We couldn't get staff to help us to get garbage bags or bedding."

"The room was spacious and appeared to have been recently renovated with new modern decor and bedding was comfortable. Parking was right outside the door. Staff was helpful, courteous and professional. The railroad was about 2 blocks from the inn and went through town multiple times day and night. The hotel provided earplugs to help with the noise."
