"large room and shower room, large bed, clean. lovely view over Richmond. However, shower room tired and needs refurb, the view is marred by old bits of wood and rubbish on the path outside the window. The surrounding gardens and access path need clearing of discarded equipment, and general rubbish. "
"Genuine historical building, welcoming host. Amazingly good english breakfast- all meat from local butchers. Wonderful cake shop in town (Little Drummer Boy)."
"I have stayed here a number of times and have loved it every time. The staff are so welcoming and friendly, the inn's location is perfect and breakfast is delicious. A perfect place for a little getaway. "
"The staff were very welcoming and gracious hosts. Especially Michelle, Demi, Elli, and some of the kitchen staff whose names I didn’t catch. Richmond is a beautiful town, the best thing about it being the people."
"Always a great stop. Lovely countryside to stretch your legs before a lovely dinner. Comfy sleep and tasty breakfast before hitting the road again. Great find. "
"Lovely welcome and gorgeous room. The breakfast was lovely. I enjoyed watching all the birds in the garden outside our bedroom. A very peaceful area."
"Had a really enjoyable stay with our pup, in one of the dog friendly rooms. Staff are friendly, room really clean with good amenities and the food from the pub was good too! "
"The staff were very good and attentive.A really good thing would be if the attentiveness could be carried onto keeping the bar surface and tables wiped clean more often and the dining room floor needs brushing up and cleaning on a more regular basis.I put this sort of downfall into managers needing to be more vigilant and to up their game.Overall it was a good stay lovely clean well appointed room but that cleanliness does not transfer to the bar and dining room areas."
