"Positives - check in was easy, room is large, location is great. Negatives - the room was dirty. Lots of hair in the bathroom, dirty kitchen door, old socks left on a shelf from previous occupant. Unfortunately I’m staying there again tomorrow as my rate is non cancellable. "

Upon check in I was presented with a list of rules (empty bins, strip beds on departure amongst others) and asked for a €400 deposit for any potential breakages of which couldn’t be processed due to restrictive refund policies. "This is an exceptional place and would say it brought me some good memories. Organic locally sourced breakfast is indeed something it’s hard to find and this place has it all. Marmalade recipes should be protected. Very comfortable stay in quiet suburbs of Rotterdam with beautiful pond on the other side of the road. Only be mindful of check in restrictions. Owners accommodated my last minute request but Hotels.com/expedia should do a better job to communicate constraints regarding the rules...
