"Everything about this stay was perfect. We couldn’t recommend staying here more - if we ever returned to the area in future, we certainly wouldn’t hesitate to rebook here. Our room was cosy, immaculately clean and more than big enough for the pair of us and our toy poodle, Patsy. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and HUGE!!! "The food at the hotel was lovely. We had an evening meal and breakfast. The restaurant staff were very friendly and very attentive. The bar was adequately stocked, but I think they missed a trick. The hotel is pretty close to Penderyn distillery , yet stock nothing of their range. I for one would definitely have spent more at the bar if more Welsh or local beverages had been on offer. A black dragon cider would have been preferable to a bland Singha beer, or a penderyn single malt over whatever...

"Old hotel nicely redone. Great location across the street from the train station. Small room with ensuite bathroom (shower), small refridgerator, tea coffee cookies tv and comfortable bed. Friendly staff 100 pc satisfied. I will return."
