"Quite basic room, no frills, but clean and tidy. Price reflects the standard of rooms. Little decoration issues, but nothing too major. Staff were absolutely brilliant, very helpful, polite and smart. Would definitely recommend the hotel if you're on a budget, but if you're after luxury, this wouldn't be the hotel for you. There's no eating facilities there, but a nice bar."

"We were asked to book a breakfast time slot on arrival, so we selected 8:30–9:00. However, when we went down that morning, all the doors were locked and there was no staff present. We tried every contact number provided, including the delivery and service numbers advertised, but received no answer or callback. "An elegantly appointed fairly formal country house in a beautiful rural setting, not far from a tiny small village. The rooms are comfortable and the hosts provide a great breakfast. Access to and from the property from the A roads was interesting to say the least. Single lane “roads” for the 2 miles either side of the property require a fair degree of both caution and concentration. Some parts will barely allow a car to pass. That said, it is worth the trip. Just do it slowly!"
