"Parking was easy but expensive, which is to be expected in Seattle. The hotel was fine for our needs. The thermostat wasn’t working properly but we were there for 2 nights and worked around the problem. An elevator was out of service which made wait times a little longer but again, not a huge inconvenience. We didn’t eat at the restaurants in the hotel because there are endless choices around. The staff were welcoming and checkin was quick and easy. We’ll be staying again next month for Phantom of the Opera, so we’ll see how the second time goes. Overall, no complaints about the hotel. "

"Nice place to stay. Very low water pressure/flow from shower. We were on the 2nd floor. Also no robes in the room."

"Stayed here a couple of times. The first time was before the renovation. The rooms and hotel were a bit quirk and old and it’s 3 stories with no elevator. Creaky floors, outdated bathrooms and some closets weren’t finished. Some were just small spaces with some shelves, some inside the space where the heater unit or hot water heater was with a wooden bar with some hangers. Appears the hotel has finished renovations and the bathrooms have been updated and painted, as well as the rooms. The room this time also had updated furniture as well and nice size TV. Hardwood floors may have all Ben refinished, but still creaky. (It’s an old hotel) I had a King bed room with one wing back chair and a desk and desk chair as well as a mini fridge and dresser. (enough room for a small sofa, but no sofa) Service was fair, not over the top but not terrible either. Over the top would be if their door person and front desk stall made intentional greeting to guest as they left or came back. Depending on who was working you could get that or the door person and desk staff engaged in their own conversation. It has a pretty decent restaurant attached and its location in lower Queen Anne is perfect with a Safeway, CVS and a few good restaurants all within walking distance. If you have a car. Parking is moderately difficult to find by the hotel, but there is paid parking lots that can be used nearby. Bottom line is, off season good rates, high, up to $300/night. If you like quirky this is a good one"

"The shadiest property ever. I reported that the fridge in our room was leaking and ruined $70 worth of food and the property manager tried blaming us for it and said they were going to make us pay for the damage. Then they had a maintenance guy come look at it and turns out it was their fault and the fridge was disconnected somehow. They are now refusing to reimburse us for all of the items in the fridge that were ruined because of them. Terrible company, terrible shady staff. Will definitely never be back. I would stay somewhere else to avoid being screwed over and disrespected by this property. "

"Don’t be fooled, this is not a “suite”, it is a tiny room with a bathroom. The property is a large “home” with multiple different rooms and paper thin walls, so if you’re lucky like us you might get another guest who likes to slam the fridge door, microwave, or their shower door at 2am. Also note that the kitchen is a shared kitchen, which has limited mentions in the description, so this is not exactly a private stay. The kitchen had an odd smell, from everyone’s food and the free street parking is VERY limited. On top of that, the one night we decided to stay in, the WiFi stopped working so we couldn’t watch the television AND the hair dryer broke so my partner couldn’t do her hair for the next day. When we messaged the host, they only asked us to send the networks that were available and a video of the hair dryer, after that there was no response, ever. Also, the heater stopped working as well so on the last night/day, when it was 30 degrees, we were shivering all night and during the day while trying to get ready. Overall, you can get a much better, private stay somewhere else. "
