"The property is pretty rundown. There were signs of water damage, very dated furnishings and poor housekeeping in our room - after the front desk hyped it up to be a super sought-after room. The entire building looks like it could use a solid scrub down. The continental breakfast was honestly a joke. The room was expensive for what it was."

"This hotel had nothing special, but good people and good location to several nearby restaurants (Hacienda Real was good for us). The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was essentially waffle maker or cereal. If you want nicer amenities, a bigger breakfast, or more to do in a hotel this is not the place for you. If you are simply looking for a more affordable hotel to sleep in this is a good spot. For my travel purposes, I would have no issue staying there again in the future."

"The rooms were clean and the staff was helpful and nice. You get a room with clean towels one bar of soap and one tube of shampoo. This is an extended stay facility so their are no boxes of kleenex and even though there are cook facilities you would need to bring your own pots, pans, dishes etc. We had a family above us and the kid (or kids) raced back and forth and moved chairs starting at around 5 until 11:30 PM. It was hard to sleep. We talked to the front desk after the second night...

"This was the first time I stayed at The Buxton, a Best Western Motel. I stayed here because of the close proximity to the Colorado State University campus. This motel was built in the 1960s and was recently renovated. My room had a wonderful retro vibe that made it quite relaxing! My room included a king-sized bed, which was very comfortable.
