"First, I did NOT stay here. I booked this hotel because Expedia advertised that it had a pool and hot tub. When I arrived, the pool and hot tub were closed and had been closed for what seemed like awhile. I just wanted to leave a review in case anyone else takes amenities into account. The front desk was really nice and let me cancel my reservation. They didn’t give me a hassle at all and were understanding. "

"Travelodge by Wyndham in Hubbard Ohio was one of the cleanest hotels we’ve stayed at. When we pulled into the parking lot, after dark,we were skeptical. Not sure if the Travelodge sign was suppose to be lit up but the area around the hotel was very dark! The parking area and entrance didn’t have any security lights The hotel sits back a ways from the road and it was pretty dark. Not welcoming in that respect. "The room was small, but adequate. Clean. The staff is very friendly. There are some design flaws which could be reported to corporate. The toilet paper holder is too far away from the toilet on the opposite wall. Some safety bars could be located in and around the tub. There is no night stand and therefore no reading lamp on one side of the bed. The room seems somewhat dark with only 2 lights. "

"My second stay, two nights this time. Overall great. Phone in room did not work and cell was sketchy so I had to walk out to the desk in my PJs to get an issue resolved (needed WIFI code as mine had expired). Bathtub drain backed up somewhat as I was showering. Otherwise great stay. Thanks for the 2 extra pillows as I requested, I really need them."
