"Our shepherd hut in Pinewood was spotlessly clean and refreshed every day. Staff were always on hand if needed and really helpful at checkin (the process for checking in and out was seamless). Marshmallows, skewers, logs for the indoor and outdoor wood burners, and upmarket tea bags all complimentary; only let down by basic Nescafé coffee sachets and pots of UHT milk. "Had a great room at front on top floor with great sea view. Room and hotel were clean. Did not have breakfast. Possibly understaffed. One night we got back at 9:30 and bar was closed. Lift was out Ok for us but was a problem for some other guests. Would probably use again . Hard to choose between this and the nearby voco."

"The kitchen was closed when we arrived. Later service may be appreciated. Our room also had a very squeaky floor so I pity the people below us. View was beautiful and shower was hot, bed was clean and fresh. Staff were not always at their post at the front desk but we never had to wait long."
