"I loved everything about Rose Arden. I had a very comfortable overnight stay in a single room in a lovely home that was perfect for my visit with an old friend who lived nearby. It was great value and in a beautiful quiet location with an amazing view. The host couldn't have been more helpful. And the breakfast was wonderful. If I visit Hamilton again I’ll definitely want to stay at Rose Arden."

"Stayed here for one night with husband on route to a Provincial campground so we wouldn’t have to set up in the rain. Selected this hotel based on reviews, which we found were accurate. "This was a (low-budget) option for 1 night. There were no room keys available, and the breakfast should (not) be called breakfast at all. (Breakfast) was the grab & go kind of breakfast with (mini muffins) & coffee, & not much else. We couldn't even get hot water, as the machine was not working. So this is not the place where you can sit and eat - so don't be fooled into paying the price thinking that you will get (breakfast).
The place needs a face lift, and overall it was a basic stay....

"The property was clean enough and you have assigned parking which is fine. The room had been redone but there were these dead bugs on the floor and the air conditioner was old and loud and didn't work the best. Second night I was there I had no hot water in the room and no water pressure to shower. I had been at an event all day and it was hot and late and I was too tired to complain. Next day on check out I mentioned it and was not offered any compensation. Won't stay there again!!"
