"Poor maintenance A/C not functioning Cracks in wall plaster No fridge. Shower had very poor drainage."

"Whilst our overall experience was very good it was let down by two things : 1. On arrival there was no-one on the reception desk to enable us to check in and no-one was in any hurry to try and find someone to check us in. 2. For our evening meal, again there was distinct lack of staff around once our meal had been served. On finishing our meal we waited for someone/anyone to at least speak to us but as no-one was around we simply left."

"Absolutely immaculate room, the little pub attached does great food and excellent beers. "

"The rooms. at the Essex Golf and Country Club are very nice and super clean. Be aware there is no in-room ac that we could find and just the smallest desk fan in the room but perhaps this is only an issue for 3 weeks a year! We arrived late (9.30pm) and check was smooth, went to the room and unpacked and notice in the room directory suggested the bar was open until 10.30pm. We meander up only to be informed that last orders was at 10pm so we would only be permitted to purchase one drink. Then...

"The place was very rundown we had no plug in bathroom sink, it was very noisy at night, no hair dryer, only one towel and the room needed decorating. The room wasn't serviced.We had to go and ask for tea bags and milk ect."
