"This property is under remodeling.The rooms are quite excellent for comfort. Very quiet and peaceful. I will say that when the remodel is completed this will be a top tier destination. I will return in the future and for all my stays in the Dalles area."

"A wonderful property with great staff. We loved the ambience and warmth of the property and the location relative to the Columbia River Gorge and White Salmon could not have been better. We are already planning a return trip."

"Interesting experience. There is no on-site staff, but the building is in excellent (restored) condition. You let yourself in with the door code and then you’re on your own. The on-site restaurant is not operating, so we drove a couple miles for dinner. We made breakfast from what was on site. Thankfully there was no noise from the railroad outside. We’ll be back."
