"We had a one night stay here on our Australia trip. We stayed in the Captain's Cottage which was a lovely, spacious room. It was beautifully furnished and the bed was one of the most comfortable we've ever slept in. There is complimentary tea and coffee for guests in the main building, as well as in the rooms. We went in to get a drink at about 8 pm but the coffee machine had run out of most choices and the water to make the tea was lukewarm. Not a huge problem but maybe something to think about...

"The town centre is within walkable distance with a variety of restaurants to choose from. Walking down to beach is also very easy. We were grateful for the upgrade of our room, with an extremely comfortable couch. We also love the fact that there is a heater in the bathroom, which is essential for our stay during winter!"

"We booked the Queen share room and as soon as we got there and called the staff about checking in, it wasnt looking good because our room didnt have the partial ocean view OR the private bathroom that was advertised and that we paid for. We opted to pay and additional $10 p/night for the other queen share room with these features, though with that were concerns over cleanliness as a toothpick was left on the nightstand. "We got the tiniest room I have ever seen but it was super clean and close to amenities. It matched the price so no complaints there. The heater was too small to heat up the room the first night so we were going to bed in jackets and beanies. I also had to get up in the middle of the night to turn the heater back on as it switches itself off. But it was the only thing. The camp itself is absolutely stunning and we had a great time."

We had to book else where and now no refund is being processed we are completely disgusted in the service from Expedia and the Rayville boat house it’s unacceptable. We drove 3 hours to find a room unusable and then not being able to get in contact with the owner then they contact back hours later after we had to find somewhere else. Worst experience. "
