"I stayed at Hotel Zed with a friend for a girls trip and it was awesome. The staff were so lovely and accommodating. They let us check in early, which was so helpful since we were on an early flight. The ability to text message the lobby was so convenient and they were always super responsive. We were reluctant to stay at a hotel outside of downtown but the location was super easy to navigate to a cool restaurant or the wharf with a quick Uber ride. Thank you Hotel Zed!!!"

"There is no doubt this is an older hotel/motel. The rooms are small but very well organized. The only addition I would say is a chair in the bedroom. They have taken on the challenge of recycling and do it very well. The breakfast is simple but ample. They have a pillow menu, the towels were fluffy, bright white. And the amenities were well chosen and complete the emphasis on clean organic and recycling. There is a"great room" with multiple televisions, a pool table and nice seating, and...

The room had so much personality, and right from the start, the staff made it clear that they would help us with anything we needed. Afternoon tea was flawless, and the breakfast was top-notch. The restaurant seated us specially so the kids could be themselves together and then we had the kids up to a suite where they put us in a great corner unit where we wouldn’t get any noise complaints :) we are so grateful! "The kids really enjoyed the seals, otters, and blue herons in the harbour. Additionally, the pool, hot tub, and enjoyable stroll or water taxi to the other side of the harbour. The staff, views, and location were incredible!"
