"Staff were very welcoming and friendly. It was my brother in laws birthday and they put balloons in his room, gave him a cup cake and even bought him a card. "Very helpful staff and excellent breakfast. Parking was extra (£5- day) The room (deluxe ) was a little tired and the bath chipped. In a very old building it would have been nice to have had a small refrigerator to cool the water provided as it was very hot and, as usual, in the UK not air conditioned. ..."
