"Staff was absolutely amazing!! Hotel definitely needs a big renovation. From the lobby to the actual rooms themselves. Very old carpets, drapes, the mattress in hide a bed was horrible. Mattress was super dirty and springs were poking out. Thank goodness for the staff!!"

"I definitely had a few gripes with the Whispering Pines, mainly coming from it being an old building in general. The floors were dusty, the decorations were a bit gross with dust and overall dated designs, the rooms are terribly lit, everything creaks, and you can hear neighbors in the living space pretty loudly. I was also missing some things in my room. All this being said, it was incredibly comfy, and I enjoyed my stay. The staff was kind and brought complementary breakfast. It was away from everything so it kind of felt like I was in a home in the back woods. Honestly, for the price and the location, it is a steal. I would do it again. I just hope they get more staff."
