"Sadly nobody was around to check us in so we were waiting around in the lobby for a while trying to find a member of staff. When somebody finally arrived she was gruff and unwelcoming. The property and grounds are beautiful. The room was very pleasant and comfortable but unfortunately there was zero hot water so both my daughter and I had the joy of a freezing cold shower in the morning. "Lovely hotel and very handy for tge station. Rooms on the small side but ok for a short stay. My only complaint is the use of paper cups in the rooms. We coukdnt pick up tge vips as they were too hot and then one of them started leaking. A couple of china mugs and some glasses for water please."
