"The Hotel is conveniently located as it's a walking distance from town, walking distance from the Grand Western Canal and in close proximity to Fast food outlets and garages. That's an extra plus to the hotel as the walking distance encourages involuntary exercising, to the benefit of patrons' good holistic health and wellbeing. Back indoors, it's very quiet inside, allowing good resting and a good night's sleep. On waking up in the morning, one is greeted with an amazing buffet for breakfast, getting one ready for the day. The staff are great, one of the few unique places you still get a full package at check-in, ensuring that you are inducted to all the essentials. The restaurant and bar staff always give a service with a smile, and to specifications. For the kitchen staff, as it is said, "The taste of the pudding is in the eating". Though the patrons might not see you facially, you are seen in those succulent ribs and wings, just to mention my own favourite dish. You do an amazing job. Let me challenge the Hotel Management, all hotel staff and patrons by saying, if these premises were filthy noone would want to work there, let alone, be associated with Tiverton Hotel. Credit goes to all Housekeeping staff for making us want to come back again, again and again. Your service is second to none. I look forward to the re- opening/re-launching of Tiverton Hotel soon, after the renovations currently underway. Behind this successful team is, I believe, good management."

"Amazing stay for the Easter weekend. The staff were faultless, impecably trained, discrete and very effective. The property was in good condition. Food and service were amazing. Having stayed in hotels all over the world at all star ratings this hotel proves you can still deliver amazing service for a more reasonable price. One of few, anywhere i would return to. "

"First of all the positives. Lovely reception staff. Rooms were lovely and clean. Location perfect for our needs. Negatives, once you leave the reception and ground floor it is a very dated building. Our room was small but clean, issue glass screen in bathroom which you can’t move due to sink being in way so you cant get to the taps without climbing in the bath. I was woken around 2am by a really noisy butch of guests, not the hotels fault but could probably do with some sound proofing as the only reason I woke up was because it was so loud I thought they were in our room. Breakfast, lovely girls but didn’t ask us about allergies, showed us to table didn’t advise about cereals or juices. Asked if we wanted tea or coffee and took our breakfast order. How would I like my eggs? Pouched please! Received fried. No I didn’t complain as the lady sat next to us asked for boiled eggs and was told they don’t usually do them so would need to wait 10 minutes, when they arrived they were over cooked. The lady had also been woken by the other guests around 2am. Also restaurant was empty yet the lady and us were put right in a walk way where there seemed to be a lot of human traffic passing us. We did say something to reception on leaving and was offered to speak to a manger but I didn’t feel the need as the receptionist was lovely. Would we stay again, probably not."

"Only stayed one night, to break up our journey. Easy booking via Expedia, easy to find with ample parking. Lovely friendly welcome at reception by Lil. We had a nice, spacious, spotlessly clean room with A Patio ! We couldn't resist the Sunday carvery which was very nice, as was the breakfast the next morning. So with a lovely location, nice friendly staff giving great service, what is not to like. Thanks to all of your hardworking staff & looking forward to visiting again soon. M&S"

"I looked at the reviews before booking the Sri Lankan guy work in here is a really nice person and his food is also very good. Had three evening meals. Enjoyed everyone. The only thing to complain about was the lack of heating. Just put a small fan or a little oil radiator in the rooms. The Wi-Fi is good free Parking large comfortable room just a little bit chilly. I’m sure if they sorted this out I wouldn’t hesitate to come back again."
