"We booked our room for the balcony and the river view when we arrived we had to be put into another room which was small no balcony and a view of the parking lot. We had to change rooms bc it does not tell you that the hotel is two different parts and to go for breakfast you have to go outside and to use the pool you have to go outside and back in. Which is very inconvenient for having a toddler getting places and too cold for after swimming. Also in our room the first night someone left the...

"Front desk was very kind and welcoming. Unfortunately, the rooms are not very up to date. Bathroom sink is very difficult to use, sprays everywhere. TV very difficult to use and slow. One major issue we had was the maid barged into our room to clean before our check out time, without even bothering to knock first. Was very uncomfortable and unprofessional on her part. Other than that, we still had a decent stay, I found the beds very comfortable and appreciated the friendliness of the front...

"Staff moved us from upper level to lower level, which was much better for myself being with medical issues, very much. Appreciated parking was in front of the room. Thank you"

"They were easy to deal with. Good Breakfast and room."

"We really enjoyed our stay! Margaret was lovely and the rooms were quaint and homey. We also enjoyed walking through the gardens in the morning. Highly recommended!"

"Bedbugs! .. no complimentary coffee in the rooms .. loud partier's all night .. specifically to my room there was blood splatter on the walls, we moved a mattress and there was blood stains on the box spring, damage on bathroom door both sides damage on entrance door the hinges were torn off, something crazy happened in that room and they still rent it .. it looks to me like it's under New management by new Canadians .. enough said"

"Excellent all around"

"I went as a solo traveller in fall on a work trip. I was upgraded to a room with a porch and a view. The staff were excellent. I had dinner one night in the restaurant and the food and service was very good. My room was very comfortable. I would like to go back in season and stay in a cottage."

"It was a very clean, newly updated room. The only issue is the a/c hardly blew out cold air. The weather was not to hot so it was not a huge deal but a hot summer night would be uncomfortable. It was a very quiet area and big parking spot which was good since we had our food trailer with us."

"Good for the price!"

"My wife and I stayed at the Westwind Inn this past weekend and were disappointed by both the value and customer service. When we arrived, the parking lot was nearly empty. We learned only 3 of the Inn's 32 rooms were occupied Friday night. Due to issues with the Inn's website, I had to book through Expedia and was assigned a woods-facing room. Given how empty the property was, I asked about moving to a lake-view room. Although many were available, I was charged an additional $75 per night plus...
