" Very welcoming staff and pleasant hotel with beautiful surroundings. Elements restaurant is classy with a good menu. The Spa area is clean and the option to use the outdoor hydro pool is an added bonus (additional £20 pp for 2 hours) but on a sunny day is worth it. Parking is short walk away, but this is not an issue. "

"Stopped over on cleveland way. Had a long hot day and was ready to get feet up. Got sorted on arrival quickly and settled. Had a good meal especially the tomato soup. Slight hiccup with breakfast arrangement but got resolved quickly, would recommend a stopover."

"clean room, but the shower was broken to begin with, but fixed after 20 minutes, and loud, drunk guest at 2 am one night, which kept me up for 3 hours, but I did not say anything at the time, with i would not want to deal with such people at 2 am, so can not blame them with just wanting to sleep at the time and did not do anything my self. "An excellent stay at this well located hotel. The food was excellent, the menu isn't massive but I'd rather a smaller menu with exceptional food than an extensive menu with poor food. The venison in red wine was ad one of the staff desc6it, to die for! Breakfast was also very good."

"Used as a weekend visit to Guisborough and the surrounding area. The hotel is only a few minutes' drive from the centre of the town, which has an array of street and other car parking. I understand that it is also possible to travel by bus from outside the hotel, but I did not explore this further. The hotel itself has a welcoming beer garden, but there is nothing around it that you might walk to. The hotel has a huge free car park, and the reception we had from Ben was first class. The bar was smart, well-used by locals with a good choice of drinks in comfortable surroundings. Our room was a twin on the first floor. Had all that you would expect at the price point charged. Overall decent value. We ate our evening meals in the restaurant. Good menu with again a reasonably priced choice of meals. Quality decent with good sized portions All in all, a good experience if you are visiting the area."
