" Adorable little motel, with retro decor! We have stayed multiple trips, due to good location, cleanliness, great staff, ect. Just beware, the parking is tight! Not for those pulling a trailer. Even a large pick-up is a tight squeeze. Highly recommend."

"Well, let’s be honest. At this price, it was what should be expected. There’s a gate that keeps the undesirables out. Let’s just say that, I wasn’t surprised by the room, low grade towels, this blankets on the bed, bathroom door had been broken by someone at some point…I did not shower, there were no shower goods, ie shampoo etc. and no hair dryer? lol…"

"I’d give my stay at Gilmore One about a 4/10. The place was very clean, which is really the main thing carrying that score. That said, the room itself was pretty small and nothing special. I also think they could do a much better job setting expectations, it’s more of a shared house setup where you’re renting a room and sharing common areas, not a typical hotel experience. There was a constant flow of people coming and going at all hours, which didn’t make it feel very private. The room didn’t feel particularly secure with just a coded doorknob, and parking was a headache. The neighborhood also felt a little sketchy at times. The bathroom setup was honestly the worst part. The light was on a timer and you literally could not use the bathroom with the lights off. It would shut off and then blast back on with a loud fan every 15 seconds no matter what you did. Even if you turned it off, it would just turn itself back on. Using the bathroom in the middle of the night felt like a nightmare, getting hit with a bright light and loud fan over and over again with no way around it. It was easily the most frustrating part of the stay. The shower situation wasn’t great either, the water pressure was weak and it took about 10 minutes to heat up. On the positive side, the bed was comfortable, everything was very clean, and it was nice that they had a washer and dryer available, even though I didn’t end up using it. Overall, its not somewhere Ill stay again."
