"It seems nothing is too much trouble for the reception staff at this hotel, which we found clean and comfortable and more peaceful than many we have stayed at. Conveniently located outside the town centre, but a comfortable drive in short time subject to the volume of traffic. A special shout out to Daisy who went above and beyond to assist us when my wife had a problem with her foot. "

"We stayed at the Hotel Du Vin on our wedding night. We checked in online which was a very quick and simple process. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We had a suitcase which we wanted to take to the hotel prior to checking in. This was absolutely no problem and as our room was ready, we were able to take the case to our room far in advance of normal check in time. When we returned to our room, a bottle of bubbly had been provided which was a lovely touch and gratefully received. Breakfast the next morning was fabulous with an excellent choice on the menu. Again, the staff were very friendly and helpful without being intrusive. We would highly recommend this establishment any time."

"Nice and spacious room. My only 'complaint' is that when we checked in we were told that breakfast was included. I didn't select this option but as I booked a number of hotels for our trip I didn't recall each one. Wish they had been clearer but the breakfast was both good and reasonably priced. I would definitely suggest staying here if you are in the area."
