"Lovely property, entire hotel is now pet friendly allowing us to upgrade to a nicer room with our dog. Grounds were so well kept, room was very warm in the day/evening however it cooled nicely at night (thankfully). My only gripe is the cost of the F+B. I found the wine, albeit great to be extortionate. I would recommend offering a simpler, more cost effective offering choice which may encourage further spend. Electric vehicle charging was aplenty and worked! WOULD 100% stay again"

"It’s a beautiful setting, historical building and well looked after. However that means there are some pitfalls - you can’t expect air con in an old building but that doesn’t make sleeping in a heatwave easy, and it is expensive. Recommend if you can get a reasonable price but not worth best part of £200 a night (it’s a nice hotel but not five star luxury)"
