"Loved the very diverse breakfast. Absolutely lots of choices . Continental English and food was special. The building has character the location great. Bus stop outside parking for disabled and other . Views outstanding. Room service daily and good. My only gripe was that the window in the cosy bedroom was out of reach but my husband climbed to open it as there was no air flow. I knew there was no balcony however there was but closed off as needed repair. It was locked and I was able to open it just and inch. Still not enough for fresh air. The window was consequently very dirty . But I could see the sea through it. Overall we lived the stay though. Communal areas lively toilets clean and pool a delight ."
"hotel staff very friendly and welcoming
executive room was very good
would have preferred solid shower glass rather that curtain which only just reached the bath
"
"Have stayed before but this time we had a two bedroom apartment. As with our previous stays, the apartment was comfortable, warm, well equipped. Yes a bit worn in places. Cooking facilities could be a little better eg. Condition of frying pan, no cooking oil but otherwise everything you could need.
Facilities on site are excellent. Adventure golf was very good. Pool and spa are nice and staff are very friendly and helpful.
Only thing that would be a big plus would be the addition of pool tables for kids - I believe the only one they have is in the adult only bar.
However overall as with previous stays we had a fab time with two teenagers and will go back again. "

"Arrived and met by friendly staff. However on entering the room could clearly see room was dated and requires an overhaul.
Brown carpet - stained and dirty in many areas. Furniture chipped and dated. Bed extremely uncomfortable and mattress topper has been added however mattress had fold in the middle and lumps - very uncomfortable. Curtain are not blackout and office opposite has digital adverts going all night so constant flashing of lights through curtains. Bath - which we paid extra for full of mould / mildew. Expensive for poor quality. Have feedback to staff however was informed they could have changed the room but explained it was past 11pm . Breakfast was really good and parking to the rear of the property . Won’t be staying again as it needs money ploughing into updating things "
"We had a lovely stay at Hotel Indigo Torquay and overall it was a wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and helpful, which really made the stay feel special. The hotel itself is stylish, comfortable, and has a great atmosphere, making it a relaxing and enjoyable place to stay.
The only very small negative was the shower door. The handle on the inside is quite small and difficult to pull, especially when your hands are wet and slippery. I also have a fear of being trapped, so I did have a brief moment of panic, which wasn’t helped by the fact I didn’t have my glasses on at the time. That said, this was a minor issue and didn’t detract too much from the overall experience.
We still thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and the warmth and professionalism of the staff more than made up for this small inconvenience. We would happily return and would definitely recommend Hotel Indigo Torquay to others looking for a welcoming and comfortable stay."
"We stayed in a spacious family room with a beautiful sea view. The beds were comfortable and the linens were clean; we really liked the room's location. However, we had some issues with cleanliness—the carpet was dirty, and the bathtub drain was clogged, causing water to pool during showers. Also, the edges of the tub were not clean. On the positive side, the outdoor pool was open and heated, which our daughter really enjoyed. The pool area was well-decorated and maintained. The staff were helpful and polite. As for breakfast, it was quite ordinary with limited options, but they provided cheese once we asked for it. It met our expectations but wasn't anything spectacular."
"An impressive modern hotel in an amazing position on South Sands, only a narrow road stands between it and an excellent beach. The views across to the far shore are truly spectacular. Access is down a very narrow road with passing places. ( typical of this part of Devon). Friendly and welcoming staff. Large and well equipped bedrooms. Beautiful coastal walks from the door. "
