"Just a one night stop over .. Room clean Staff friendly and helpful, Lady who covered the breakfast was AMAZING, she worked so hard to meet everyone's needs. On a negative..the bacon , felt like it had been cooked a while, so had become dry and very hard to eat ... We throughly enjoyed our evening ..."

"Welcome by staff was very good. They were fantastic, enthusiastic to assist. Room was large, with everything we needed. Very traditional, with kettle, free water and alt milk ready. Great bar and the Garden room offered cocktails or tea. Perfect for visit to York."
