"We enjoyed our recent stay in a ground floor, twin bed, en-suite room. There was handy parking, a friendly welcome, a lovely clean and comfortable room, and delicious breakfast. Our hosts were friendly, helpful and welcoming, the room was warm and cosy, and we would be happy to stay again."

"Booked in early January, some hours later, on the same day, messaged hotel asking for a cancellation, because I realised that possibly I wouldn't be able to make these dates or even the city due to personal circumstances. Even with more than one month in advance, the hotel refused to cancel and refund the booking; We were a big group, booked 3 different rooms; we paid different £ for the rooms, but got exactly the same room size/ layout and facilities. We could feel a smell of old and musty...

"The full cooked breakfast was amazing, i couldn't fault it, single room was small but clean and comfy. very friendly owners , and 2 lovely dogs who came to greet me. Overall i enjoyed my stay, and if im ever back in the area i would definately stay again. "

"Signposting problematic, room weathered in need of tlc. Bed far too soft. Bathroom very dark but very good. Sink slow to drain. Staff were lovely. Grounds fab. "

"Superb pub and rooms steeped in local history - Robert Plant started his career here playing blues guitar aged 15 in the upstairs blues club (sadly not there anymore but the history is palpable). The pub is a treasure trove of history, and so well preserved, from the original staircases and ceramic tiling on the walls, to the original bar. My room was just sheer excellence. Comfy bed, every amenity laid on, crispy linen and a boiling hot shower. Sadly the pub no longer serves food other than...
