When I booked it said "shuttle to/from airport". There wasn't any, the employees didn't know what it was, and made no effort to find out"

"It's easy to stay at a generic box type hotel.
The Strand has pedigree (See Raffles and E&O). It's a beautiful building with high ceilings. Beautifully decorated and clean. Very pleasant staff. Quiet and tranquil.
Stay here for your first visit to Yangon, and you can always stay at a generic, branded hotel on a subsequent visit."
