"We have stayed here before and will do again. It is very reasonably priced for a city centre hotel and, although the rooms are a bit dated, they are clean and perfectly adequate for a night or two. The reception staff are always welcoming, friendly and helpful and we enjoy being able to walk to the esplanade in just a few minutes."

Some room key cards were broken, and the large opening around the lock was covered only by a cheap plastic panel that could easily be removed by hand. "We arrived early but were able to check-in which was wonderful. Very helpful receptionist. The room was clean and tidy and equipped with basic cooking facilities which we didn't expect. "We could see the effort made to clean. But still we found mold in the fridge, window, wall etc. The drawers were not clean. So we didn't even open to use it. Toilet seat was coming off. Cold water tap was not working in the washbasin. White bed sheets and pillows looked neat. There were loud voices and moving sounds of tables and chairs even in the midnight and early morning hours like 1-2 am. This place has great potential if cleaned well and maintained."
