"Very conveniently located and well fitted out apartment room with generous courtesy provisions supplied as well. Very handy secure parking in basement for an additional charge. Only minor issues were lack of air con (room gets warm even with windows open on a mid-September day), no microwave and a slightly soft bed. NB Rooms on third floor on Park Place side also overlooked by taller balcony flats opposite."

However, the first room we were allocated had an absolutely terrible damp smell. Luckily we were able to reach management via phone (despite it being 10pm) and they gave us a different room, which smelt fresh. This was fine for a couple of nights, but we wouldn’t have wanted to stay longer because the room didn’t have...

"Not sure if it was due to Expedia or the host but I got too many emails once I’d made the booking and I was badgered to check-in but the process wasn’t clear and I had to download an app which seemed totally pointless. This said, I gave up with the tech and spoke to someone from Deuce Hotels and he was excellent. He was professional and reassuring and the codes for the door arrived via email as promised. The property itself does not look very welcoming as you go in a back door next to the bins....
