"I think very few gaijin go this far out. Some of the communication was difficult but the staff tried really hard and we enjoyed the stay Hard to navigate getting to and from major stations and it snowed one day at end of March Overall I’m glad we did it for the experience to be immersed in Japanese culture. "I stayed only for one night but the hotel was excellent, staff were helpful, spacious Japanese style room. A bit of walk from the Kinugawa Onsen Station but it is a nice walk. I will stay again if I am in the area again."

"The hotel is close to railway and bus stations. Also a supermarket is two minutes away.. The front desk stuffs are very helpful and nice. The room is very clean and has no bad smells. Room is large compared with some other Japan hotels. Free breakfast is another plus!"

"We had a Western style room on the 4th floor which had a balcony with beautiful views. The beds were comfortable. The onsen was small but very clean and relaxing. Breakfast was varied, lots to chose from both western and Japanese. We were welcomed by friendly staff."

"Peaceful and quiet. Use of private onsen. Not too far from the train station or close shops. Houses are more in the traditional sense which is great. Just have to walk uphill a little bit to reach the accommodation. Fine if a youngster or fit enough. Got a lift to the station when checking out as well. How good? Early June for 2 nights for 2 of us. Reasonable price for the experience."
