The property was quaint & charming. The staff couldn't have been any nicer. They immediately fixed the problem with the lights, so my only complaint was that they really needed to wash the floor. Otherwise, if I was ever going that way again, I would definitely stay there.

Loved this hotel. Staff was very nice. Room was very clean and bed was comfortable. The price was very good. We travel alot for business and stayed at more expensive hotels and would rather stay here than the more expensive one. If we are ever in the area again will definately stay here.

It was a good stay. It will be better once they remodel the rooms. Just alot of holes in the blankets and on the chair. But i know its not in all the rooms.

I like the easy going nature of the front clerks and the manger and willingness to help me and also understanding of my disability as qell as my last minute need of a room amd helping me to secure a convenient room for a good price. Also Very respectful of my XL breed service dog and waived his fee with proof of certification as well as accomodating my Husky family pet for a reasonable fee and as we are in process of moving to a new home. I also like that it is very easy for me to get around the property and there are ramps at each room to not have to worry with stairs. I definitely will come here again if I need a room or 2 in Cambridge.

The room smelled of old wet towels. I had to go buy scented candles to cover up the smell. Cigarette burns on the tub. Toilet took several attempts to flush. You literally have to wait a good 5 minutes before you can use the hot water. The ceiling had what seems like water stains from a horribly fixed drywall job. I should have just left but it was late and didn't feel like trying to find another Hotel room and pay last minute prices.

This property is ridden by bedbugs. I stayed in the room 217 and there were bedbugs all over the room. Once I saw this, I decided to cancel my booking and asked for a refund. They initially accepted it and told me I would get a check in the mail, but then denied it on the grounds that they had checked the room and nothing was found, while I have the photos and videos that bedbugs were in the room and were on the bed, on my clothes and had bit me as well. Apparently to them, I had lied about it. Management was also very rude and dismissive about my case once I called back. I really would not stay here again.

The woman at the front desk when we got there was nice and the front office smelled great. There was a cat on the counter which surprised me but no real big deal. We got our room key and headed over....once inside the room it was really disgusting and you could tell the room had bot been cleaned in a very long time. There were long think cobwebs on the ceiling, dead flies and gobs of dirt and dust on the ac unit. The floor definitely had not been swept and it seemed as though there were food pieces on the floor in some areas. We turned the sheets down on one of the beds and there were black dots on the sheets. I wish i would habe taken pictures of how bad it was. We decided to NOT even stay. We went back to the office and handed the key back. I described the room to the guy at the desk and he looks shocked at my claims. He said well, no one has been in that room for months. So I am assuming that meant no one bothered to look to clean it either. We did ask for a refund he just pointed to a sign and said no refunds, but u can fill this paper out. I then spoke to orbitz and we are now waiting for the manager to approve the refund. As a small businesses owner, do better!

If you don't like to sleep alone...you won't.

I had thought ok, so if you have a dog with you maybe you get not the cleanest updated room. Woke up to bed bugs crawling on my pillows and found one on a night shirt i had just taken off. Spent the next 3 days throwing away anything non-essential, steaming, and washing EVERYTHING. NOT what i have time or energy for as a disabled person making it an extra burden having to make sure no bugs got in my $$$$'s worth of life sustaining medical equipment. Wanted to support an American owned business but not at the expensive of me and my dogs health. As they were eating the bugs all night long...thinking that ok maybe they didn't vaccum well enough or mop so must be crumbs. One of them found part of a peppermint stick under the dresser which was gross enough. I was horrified when i realized why they had been going under the beds and dresser all night long. Staff is only doing their job and were nice but bugs HAVE to be taken care of by the owners. Photos of bug on pillow case and the bug i found trying to follow me home on a night shirt i had just taken off.

We liked our room. It was spacious, comfortable and had what we needed. We walked to eat at KFC (about 5 minutes walk). Other fast food places are not much further.

The Deer Creek Motel was comfortable and had a few features of a more expensive hotel/motel that some economy hotels do not have (like a pressing iron, refrigerator and microwave oven). The bed was comfortable, the room was clean and stylish.

There was used condoms beside the bed and broken dusty lights and fan unit in the bathroom. The lady at the front counter was rude and just stared at me when I walked in abs then rolled her eyes when I said I reserved online

Authentic Old Style Motel

I really like this hotel because it is an old style motel from what I grew up staying in on trips with my family as a kid. An authentic 1950s-1970s motel. It’s clean, spacious, and comfortable.

Cheap room for a nights sleep

There's a refrigerator and microwave in the room. The refrigerator didn't work , but they replaced it. However when we pulled out the non working refrigerator, there was molding dog food under it. The beds dip down when sat on, but surprisingly we were able to sleep ok. The place is very quiet. It's outdated, but it's cheap. Bedding is clean and no bugs.
