"We had an amazing stay here in November 2025! We stayed for five nights. The room was small (especially with two large suitcases) but functional and very well kept. The bed was very comfortable. The rooftop bar is amazing with the views, and the saunas were so nice as well (especially the one with the view!) "The location is perfect for walking and bus access anywhere oin Kyoto. The street is quiet, beautifully paved, with a canal and trees on one side, and the beautiful river walks on the other. It was the prettiest neighborhood we saw in Kyoto and we traveled all over! "Location was everything for us, just a 5 minute walk to Ninezaka area filled with beautiful streets. Kiyomizu-dera and other temples/ shrines super close by. Only a 15 minute drive to train station and Nishiki Market. Was such a good spot to stay while getting out of Tokyo for a few days. "
