"To be honest, it was a cheap option to stay in for a night before an early Birmingham flight, and I was on my own. Brilliant friendly bar downstairs, great start to holiday. Building a bit tired where I stayed, but clean and did the job! Would defo do this again. Lovely staff! "

"Lovely friendly staff. Generally the facilities are good with the exception of the work area. The desk is fixed to the wall which is fine but it's very poor quality, in 2 of the 3 rooms that I've stayed in the desk is cracked and ready to break. There is also a stool to sit on and again very poor quality and uncomfortable to sit on. I've stayed in single rooms and am satisfied with the rest of the facilities in the room. "Booked at short notice for the NEC we were pleasantly surprised by the comfortable beds and updated room decor."

"Had a wonderful stay here. The four person family room was perfect, loved the character and all the old features. Staff were all fab. The location is ideal for walking into town. Would 100% stay here again. Thanks for a wonderful weekend :)"

"For the price, cannot complain. Its student accommodation so you will be sharing with students during their summer holidays. So dont expect 3-5 star service/ cleanliness. I was satisfied with my stay, it fit the purpose."

"Located above a petrol station, as a lone traveler felt slightly vulnerable entering the building given the location. However, once inside it was comfortable and clean and surprisingly quiet. "All in all, its a decent accommodation for people who are looking to whizz through Birmingham. We needed a car to drive around to the NEC etc. This accommodation is not too far, but around 25 mins away from the centre of Birmingham by driving. Can't complain. "

"Accommodation was great, clean and newly refurbished with spacious room and good shared kitchen/laundry facilities. Shortage of forks/mugs however in kitchen. Good location near university with lots of nearby buses and train to centre.
