"Wonderful quirky small hotel with great staff. Nautical theme and full of interesting items of decor. Spacious room on top floor with good views of harbour, comfy bed, good en-suite. Nearby free parking and it’s popular so visitors may struggle in peak season, but it was fine for us in early July. Interesting old town but a word of warning to visitors - most restaurants seem to close the kitchen around 8pm, so dine early!! We were caught out twice in two days (there are some that don't close...

"Wonderful alberque. Be prepared for a bit of a different experience. To help eliminate unwanted bed bugs, which hitch a ride on pilgrims bags, your gear is stored in lockers downstairs and a laundry basket provided to bring up what's needed. Your gear in the locker is secured by a key and another locker upstairs as well. The beds are made and the shower, sink, toilet ratio per person is excellent. "Clean, nice, very comfortable "

"Hands down my favorite stay of all the places we stayed from Oviedo to Santiago. Although it's a few kilometers short of town, staying here was the best decision we made along the Camino Primitivo. The rooms are simple and perfect. The staff are gracious and generous. The view is incredible. The hotel's unlabeled wine was the best I had in Spain. I would return just to visit this lovely hotel again."

"The location of this small hotel allows you to explore Luarca by foot. We could park our car in front of the hotel entrance (end of May) Rooms are well equipped and comfortable. We did not have breakfast there since we were only for a night and left early for a coffee in town and a long walk up the hills for the views. Can definitely recommend."

"No puedo opinar sobre el hostal Ponte Dos Santos pues al estar lleno me ofrecieron a cambio la estancia en un apartamento situado en el mismo centro de Ribadeo, el cual estaba totalmente equipado, si puedo decir que tras un mal entendido con la recepcionista del hostal el resto todo ha sido perfecto, tanto la atención del dueño como la limpieza y las instalaciones que nos dieron "
