"A lovely and comfortable stay in the heart of Sintra. Self check-in was smooth and everything was easy to access, making arrival stress-free. We stayed on the top floor, a climb well worth it for the charming balcony and beautiful view of the Moorish Castle.

"What a gem. Beautiful setting and grounds, and the perfect blend of a little bit vintage with great updates. (Rainfall shower heads! ) Rue and his son went above and beyond to make me comfortable. Early check in when I arrived , no problem. When I came in out of the rain, they put my clothes in the dryer. I had an early departure , they arranged a taxi for me and made me a sandwich to take as I left before breakfast was served . Lovely hotel and lovely people . "

"The rooms and building are fine, clean and comfortable, but dont think you are anywhere near the historic center of Sintra. The bus from Estaçao Sur brings you close but there's almost nowhere to eat in the area (at least on a Saturday evening, nothing was open). This is a housing development in the outskirts of Sintra. Lots of barking dogs all night. "

"Great location, easy walk to restaurants and shops. The hotel itself was quiet and peaceful. Our room was very spacious and clean! Breakfast spot was very quaint with a tasty breakfast. We will definitely stay here again! "
