"No 24h reception as advertised. We didn't have the front door key, so we had to phone call someone to open the door or bang the door until heard. Bathroom door doesn't close. Although it’s only a 4 minute walk from Pelourinho, we were told by locals and police that we had to take Uber home as soon as it got dark! In other words, the area is not safe at night. "
