"We had a great stay here! Beautiful property. We had the Mountain Bungalow and it was really nice. The food was delicious and decently priced. We bought into a ziplining tour, the canopy/hanging bridges tour and 3 hr/3 waterfall hike - all great! Saw lots of monkeys and a toucan. Guides were great. Would stay here again!"

"La mansion is in a beautiful location, and has nice views of the lake. The swimming pool and hot tub (more of a warm-tub) were great. I also loved our bright yellow room with crazy tiles thoughout the bathroom. The restaurant was ok. I would recommend eating at one of the local sodas instead. Overall, a great spot if you have a car to explore the area(Including La Fortuna)"

"Our junior suite was a great room, with lots of space. Unfortunately it was infested with flying ants on the walls. There was also an animal living in the ceiling, and black fecese continually fell onto our bed. They did not have any of the same room types for us to switch into, so we stuck it out for the night.

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at blue River. The rooms were huge and super clean. We really appreciated the coffee maker every morning. We did the zip line tour with blue River and it was great. The spa pools were very relaxing with tables and chairs at each of them. there were no surprises with the bookings."

"We only stayed one night when travelling through, but wished we would have had more time to enjoy the horse riding and ziplines. "This is a wonderful location near the national park. If you are wanting to hike the waterfall trail in the national park, it is only about a 5-10 minute drive from this hotel.
