"There was one night where our power went out when we arrived back to the hotel at 12pm. The receptionist did not explain what occurred when we walked in so we had to find out in our room. Turns out, the city was working on the electricity and was unknown when it would turn back on. Good thing I brought my portable charger. Other than this occurrence, the stay was very pleasant. "Unfortunately the room assigned to of us had black mold around the base of the shower. The shower in general was dirty and need major maintenance. The rug was very dirty and stained. The young man who greeted us at check was rude and unapologetic. The young lady I spoke with the following day was very attentive and offered us another room but for one night more we chose to stay in our room. "We chose this hotel for it's proximity to the Sagrada Familia area. We just used it as a bed for a couple of nights and it was fine for that purpose. Being so close to the metro is a definite plus. The staff are also very friendly and helpful. However, the hotel itself is a little tired and in need of a refurbishment. We arrived after 11pm to check-in and there were no available hotel services after that time. We didn't use any of the additional facilities so can't comment on those."
